How come your prices are so cheap?
Sitaonline.in is a specialized destination travel management agency. By specializing on a specific destination we have the ability to deal directly with the hotels to get the best prices for you.
Are the rates on your site per person?
For hotel rooms, the rates visible on our site are per room per night.
For Tours & Activities, the majority of the rates are per person; however some private excursions allow you to book per vehicle.
Why is the price different to the last time I checked?
For Hotels, prices tend to vary depending on the period of your travel. Depending on how high the demand for the hotel is in your period of travel, the prices may go up or down. Booking in advance sometimes also gives you cheaper prices, as discounts become available.
For Tours & Activities prices will vary depending on the number of people or vehicles you choose.
Why do I need to enter my child’s age?
Different hotels have different policies regarding children. To ensure that you avoid any difficulties with your booking, we make sure that you have booked the right accommodation for your family. The ages help us to specify how many rooms or extra beds will be required and charged by the hotel.
What does the light bulb icon mean?
The Light bulb indicates that one of our local experts has posted one, or several tips regarding that Hotel or Tour & Activity. Sitaonline.in has a large team of local experts that will keep you updated about the going-ons in India and let you know about their different experiences. By clicking on the light bulb you will be able to read any of the relevant tips.
What does the thumbs up icon mean?
The thumbs up icon will be found under products which are the local expert’s favorite places. A favorite place is a location which a local expert feels that anyone visiting India should see, do or visit. Click on the favorite place icon to read about what the expert has to say.
Are transfers included?
When booking a hotel reservation, transfers are not included in the price. You can book transfers to your hotels using the Transfers tab on our website, or simply add them on the checkout page. When you have a transfer booked, we will arrange for our representative to come meet you at the airport, and drop you off at your destination.
For Tours & Activities, the description will specify if transfers are included.

Which debit / credit cards are accepted by your site?
All major debit/ credit cards are accepted.
Is it possible to make a booking without a debit / credit card?
As our service is a web service, it is not possible to make a payment without a debit or credit card. However, you can make a booking without a debit/ credit card only if your company has been given a credit allowance by Sitaonline.in.
How safe are my debit / credit card details?
Sitaonline.in uses a secure connection for your booking. Our secure server uses Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology. Our SSL certificate has been issued by Entrust.
Why do I pay upfront?
By paying upfront, we can make sure that your hotel and tour & activity bookings are confirmed. This also means that you can just come enjoy your holiday without having to worry about making the payments as all your payments have already been made.
How soon will payment be taken from my debit / credit card?
The money for in your account will be blocked with the transaction until processing is complete. Processing can take anytime between 7 and 14 days.
I have double checked my details but I still seem to be getting an error with my credit card payment. What do I do?
Assuming you are having problems with your payment, please get in contact with our customer support so that we can help identify what the problem seems to be. As a result you can contact us via email, or by calling us on +91 124 4563000 (int. rates apply) or talk to one of our local experts using our live chat system. We will make sure that any of your problems get resolved as soon as possible.
How do I know that my booking is confirmed?
After a successful transaction, you will receive a confirmation email that your booking has been successful. All the details of your booking will be included in this confirmation email.
Do I need to confirm the booking with the hotel?
By making you pay upfront, and asking you for your details we ensure that your work is done. Sitaonline.in will take care of all the details for you allowing you to enjoy a comfortable holiday without having to chase individual suppliers.
Do I receive a voucher for my bookings?
After booking, all the required vouchers for any transfers, hotels or tours & activities will be sent to the email you provided upon checkout. These vouchers will have to be shown at any hotel, transfer or tour & activity to redeem your booking.
What do I do if I have not received or lost my confirmation / voucher?
If, for some reason you have not received your confirmation then please contact the Sitaonline.in team directly. Sometimes a wrong email address or a simple misunderstanding may have taken place, meaning that your voucher was not sent. Our team will be delighted to help you so feel free to call us, chat with us or send us an email.
Can we amend a booking?
Currently you cannot amend any booking. To make any amendments please cancel and rebook the service or contact SITA online customer support.
